\nEric Trump recalled the incident in his new memoir, \u2018Under Siege: My Family\u2019s Fight to Save Our Nation\u2019Who wears the trousers in Melania and her husband Donald Trump\u2019s marriage is a question that has long been contended amongst experts.As per one of the President\u2019s own sons, however \u2013 who cited an occasion whereby the First Lady brutally grilled her husband over a photo op \u2013 in spite of the latter being one of the world\u2019s most powerful men, it\u2019s the former that runs the show.The savage telling-off is believed to have occurred earlier this year, with Eric Trump recalling his take on the moment in his brand new memoir, Under Siege: My Family\u2019s Fight to Save Our Nation.<\/p>\n

For anyone intrigued by the businessman\u2019s right-wing work, it\u2019s being advertised by promoters as an \u2018unfiltered look at the highs and lows of life in the Trump world\u2019, and it said to hone in on his family\u2019s controversial White House reign.<\/p>\n

Eric recalled a brutal interaction between his father and stepmother<\/p>\n

One aspect of the political biography centres specifically on the recent christening Eric and wife Lara arranged for their children, locating the religious festivities in their grandfather\u2019s presidential residence.<\/p>\n

The ceremony, 41-year-old Eric remembers, was held in the building\u2019s East Room, with the kids receiving their splash of holy water directly beneath the famous portrait of Abraham Lincoln.<\/p>\n

Donaldand Melania were, of course, in attendance for the big day \u2013 and according to Eric, became embroiled in a bitter disagreement shortly after the baptism took place.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor Lara and me, having Luke and Carolina baptised there just seemed natural,\u201d the father-of-two writes. \u201cMy father could leave the Chinese delegation, or whatever the meeting of the day, and Luke and Carolina could feel the beauty of the building, and a movement that was now engrained in their DNA.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the baptism, my father picked up his new grandson and held him for a photo.<\/p>\n

For a few seconds, Donald and Melania are said to have floundered, and eventually, after the President urged to reach out for the child, the Slovenian-born First Lady stepped in, issuing her husband with a short, sharp demand.<\/p>\n

\u201cDonald, you run the country,\u201d she reportedly uttered, before taking the crying child into her arms.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time that Melania has been praised for her ability to control the Republican leader, with the mother-of-one herself previously stating that she\u2019s been bossing Donald around since their earliest days together.<\/p>\n

Not long after first meeting the politician at a 1998 New York Fashion Week party, Melania was asked for her phone number.<\/p>\n

However, apparently, she hadn\u2019t been left impressed by the fact her future-husband was romantically-involved with multiple women at the time.<\/p>\n

Melania later said to Harper\u2019s Bazaar in 2016: \u201cHe was with a date, so of course I didn\u2019t give it to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead, she told him: \u201c\u2018I am not giving you my number; you give me yours, and I will call you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Apparently, this was to suss what type of number he\u2019d give her, with Melania adding: \u201cI wanted to see if it was a business number. What if it\u2019s business?\u201d<\/p>\n

Hoping to win her over, however, Donald is said to have offered the former model all of his possible contact numbers \u2013 including one for his office, his Mar-a-Lago residence, and his home number for New York.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
