shouting.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes it wears floral perfume, praises your baby in public, and decides behind a closed door that it knows better than you.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan picked up his keys.<\/p>\n<p>He did not hand them to Linda.<\/p>\n<p>He walked to me, put one arm around my shoulders, and kept his eyes on the trauma-room door.<\/p>\n<p>The doctor had not shouted.<\/p>\n<p>He had not accused her in words
