SARAH MITCHELL.<br \/>\nMy mouth went dry.<br \/>\nThirty-two years disappeared in an instant.<br \/>\nI was back at Edwards.<br \/>\nBack inside the Wraith cockpit.<br \/>\nBack inside the aircraft airplane anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I pointed toward the river.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re going to make her want to go there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer stared at me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith one engine?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith whatever she has left.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I grabbed the edge of the console.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJennifer, give me the engine numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight engine N1 me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis aircraft was designed to recognize the failure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer turned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecognize?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I
